Dear Missions and Prayer Partners:
P.P. Thomas in India sent us a late message, which we wish to send on to you now:
My ministry through messages by Cell Phone is widely appreciated and many get them as there are people who forward them to other friends. I am once again preparing to teach Romans1-8 in a Seminar at Grace Counseling India Center at Kottayam May 22 to 27. My bodily symptoms seem to be retreating at snail speed. Please continue to uphold me in prayer.
In His Grace,
Thomas

John Shepherd reports that Rampei in Maasai land (Kenya/Tanzania) went last week to some new areas northwest of the team's house and found many, many bomas that have never been touched with the gospel. They have started six new story telling points (churches) now and saw three more old men and sixteen young men pray to receive Christ! Rampi says that he is planning to take some of the teams coming in the next few months, into these new areas. Joseph, their yard man, is still having problems and the doctors have given him some medicine. Remember him in prayer.
As you remember, the old men rule their families and must give approval for these ministries. Actually, the old men have had a yearning for centuries to hear the rest of what their people learned centuries ago, when they were in North Africa, at the time Jesus was in Israel. The Maasai were driven out of Egypt, and slowly, over much time, migrated southward in Africa. They do not read or write, but they have remembered, and passed on stories for centuries. The old men now rejoice when they finally receive the gospel, the message of the Savior. Often, they declare that they have been waiting, and were afraid that they would never learn the rest of their story.

Hughlene F has thanked us for the opportunity to send her prayer requests
1) She has a burden for the men who pastor churches. Can we all take time praying for our good, Godly Pastors. She would like to start a ladies prayer in her home for this very thing.
2) Requesting prayer in regard to;
The destruction from the recent storms across the United States, including 300 hundred miles of tornados and straight line winds in her state.
The earthquake in China
The disaster in Burma
The bombing in India
Prayer is needed for all the people who were effected.
Praying with you,
Grace
